Needing some help thinking of a scene I could use/ draw that could be sad or have a gloomy mood.

I'm in a class that is requiring me to do a happy/cheerful scene, a mysterious scene and lastly a gloom/sad scene. I have the cheerful finished (Pacing's Shop), the mysterious one in production(Search Among the shelves ARG entry). As for the last one, I have no idea. I want is to have some sort of architecture, buildings, but I also want to have some sort of outside element so I can put rain. Give me some ideas, or key words I can get idea/ inspiration from, please.
